Dear White Women: The Costars in White Male Supremacy
Dear White Women,
You are "without understanding untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful and... not only do you do these things, but you agree with those who do." Romans 1: 31-32
You have remained virtually silent in the case of Trayvon Martian, the 17 year old African-American teenager who was murdered by George Zimmerman, a half-white/half-Latino, vigilante-racist with a gun. You collude with and are costars in this society of White Male Supremacy which heaps violence upon black bodies without redress-making life a living hell for African-Americans in America. You are complicit in the death and destruction of a people!
Be ye warned, these same white males to whom you wed your very soul will turn on you. In fact, the turning has begun in Texas & North Carolina concerning the Reproductive Rights ofwomen white women. Since White males & Pseudo white males will, at will, shoot and kill the bodies of my black babies these new extreme Reproductive Laws are not being put in place to force black women, to produce babies, and bodies and human beings. No!
Your silence is a Crime Against Humanity!

Blacks-people of African-descent, African-Americans, black Haitians, black islanders, Cushites, Kushites, the sons and daughters of Ham-people of African descent are packing the baton of the White, Racist Establishment as they hurl racial slurs and skin color insults at Rachel Jenteal, the 19 year old young woman testifying as the star witness for the prosecution! Ironically the hatred heaped on the heads and souls and hearts of Africans during enslavement and/or colonization and other instances of suppression, oppression and genocide caused Self-hatred to take root. It is internalized! It festers and bubbles over! It is poison!
It is a stronghold.

"Dark Girls" was raw and real! It dug deeply in to the ugly wound of skin color prejudice that's prevalent in the WORLD. This prevalence is directly tied to the enslavement/colonization of Africans and other people of color in the world by European & Whites. They are the Genesis of the White is Right & Supreme ideology which is fanned out across the universe. Even as I write this, They, the white establishment-corporate capitalist, pigs, bombard nations of color with skin bleaching creams of all sorts, sending the the message that something is not quite right with their darker skin. Sadly people of color are buying the lie, at all cost! The white message is and always has been that people of color and, in particular, people of African descent are not quite good enough with their odd, sinister, dark skin. The documentary shows the human causalities/fallout of this war on skin color and it's detrimental emotional, and spiritual effects. It one thing to be black (light skin, light brown skin) but to be a dark skinned black person is to be Black and Ugly and worthless and less than and nonhuman! The black community continues this hatred while many people in the white community stand on the sidelines, with up turned noses, slanted lips, and tightened eyes, acting as if they don't have a clue!

The word NIGGER, no matter its form, is an inherent negative in regards to Africans in America. African-Americans have been the most racially maligned group in the history of America. There is nothing people of African descent in America can do the change the original meaning of such a word. Rappers, self-deceived, claim that the word is now a term of friendship and endearment. Hardly! They have internalized self-hatred and are entangled in a version of self-destruction that threatens to take out the entire black community, but they are too blinded by their own ignorance and greed to recognize the truth. Instead they have consistently justified the lie. In actually, the use of the word NIGGER, no matter its formation/intonation or spelling, is the ultimate expression of White Hatred, White racism and White Supremacy; blacks who subscribe to its use especially against other blacks or in relation to black culture, are nothing more than pimps or ho's who work for a system of death, run by the man!

Chris Rock always give us something to think about with his astute observations. William C. Rhoden basically drew the same conclusion about African-American athletes in Professional Sports in his book Forty Million Dollar Slave. He traces the history of African-American in professional sports in America and determines that if African-Americans don't join ranks and begin to Collective Bargain, they would be a thing of the past, brushed aside and thrown away like those who came before them.

This is extremely sad. It seems that people of African descent all around the world are suffering from the same kind of things: Hatred, Racism, Discrimination of all sorts and the list goes on. This time a black Brazilian was stabbed in the stomach because the hometown-homegrown-local, run-of-the-mill Neo-Nazi group wants to cleanse the place of ummh! Let me guess???? Blacks, Jews, Gays ... The same old nonsense! It seems that the rich elite (government officials) in Brazil have promoted DEMOCRACY throughout the years while outright ignoring blatant acts of Hatred and Racism in the country. So what else is new!!!

Traveling for the Truth

Can we get facts straight today? As I recall the Presidential Campaign, the Republican/Tea Party and their propaganda machine of smoke, and mirrors, and lies as well as, the hordes of people who did not have to work too hard or travel too far to believe said lies, one wonders how far does one have to travel today to get the so-called simple facts.
Truths!
They are impeded by Propaganda on all four sides.
Millions of miles traveled.

The Color Curtain: Richard Wright
For some time now, I have been completely consumed by three powerhouse novels written by Richard Wright: Black Power, The Color Curtain, and White Man Listen. Although Wright penned these novels in the 1950s, they speak volumes today, laying the background to the civil unrest, the racism and the hatred that resounds around the world!
In the Afterword of the Color Curtain Wright makes this poignant observation:
"In the future there will be white men who will look
into black and yellow and brown faces and they will
say to themselves: "I wish to God that those faces were
educated, that they had lived lives as secure and serene
as mine; then I would be able to talk to them, to reason
with them..." But then it would be too late."
According to Wright, the aforementioned will be the case because of the way in which "the white man" has oppressed the entire world-Asia, Africa, Mexico and India-via Slavery, Colonization, Imperialism and War. It seems that we are living out Wright's prophecy, and he was absolutely correct in his assessment of the times!

Black Invention-Inventors in Communications
African-American Inventors: These are the Voices speaking from the Margins of America!
1. Granville T. W: Telephone System and Apparatus/Relay Instruments/Apparatus for Transmission of Messages by Electricity
Improved the transmission of voice and sound over the telephone, making it easier to hear and understand what the other person is saying. Reduced the amount of interference from neighboring lines.
Like the modern telephone, the Relay Instrument used a combination of electricity and magnets which improved the construction and sensitivity of inductive telegraphy.
The Apparatus for Transmission of Messages allowed the transmitting of signal and voice messages over the same line without changing instruments.
2. Philip B. Downing: The Letter Box as it was called then. You know it as the Mail Box today
Downing designed the mailbox to help protect the mail and to make it easily accessible by the mailman (woman) to help make his/her job a litter easier. Today public mailboxes can be found on almost every city street.
3. Newman R. Marshman & Lee S. Burridge: Type Writing Machine or Type Writer
The basic function and operation of the typewriter has been incorporated into today's computers and word processors.
4. William B. Pervis: The Fountain Pen
Before this new invention that has a built-in ink reservoir that would automatically feed ink to the point of the pen, people had to carry around bottles of ink (inkwells) to fill their fountain pens.
5. Joseph H. Dickinson: The Player Piano or what is know as The Piano Player today
This was used to play all forms of music for every occasion; it became an indispensable form of entertainment.
6. Robert F. Flemmings, Jr. The Guitar
Flemmings made improvements which enhanced the melodic tones and increased the volume in the guitar strings. He made it more sensitive to the touch which made it easier on the fingers while playing.
7. W. A. Lavalette: The Printing Press
Lavalette made overall improvements to the earlier model of the printing press. His improvements to the construction of the press made it faster, easier to use and the actual printing easier to read.
8. Joseph Hunter Dickinson: The Arm for Recording Machine
Dickinson's invention helped to improve the sound quality of the earlier model of record player. The tone arm gave a richer tone to the record and the horn helped to control the volume so that the music could be heard from a greater distance.
